Devel­op­men­tal Edu­ca­tion is the gate­way to col­lege suc­cess.

  • Devel­op­men­tal Edu­ca­tion pro­vides under­pre­pared stu­dents with the same oppor­tu­ni­ty for suc­cess in gate­way cours­es as “col­lege ready” stu­dents.

Devel­op­men­tal Edu­ca­tion does make a dif­fer­ence.

  • Devel­op­men­tal Edu­ca­tion helps ensure equi­ty in high­er edu­ca­tion, espe­cial­ly for first-gen­er­a­tion col­lege stu­dents, under­rep­re­sent­ed and under­served stu­dent pop­u­la­tions, and non­tra­di­tion­al stu­dents.

Devel­op­men­tal stu­dents learn nec­es­sary non-cog­ni­tive skills for future suc­cess.

  • Devel­op­men­tal Edu­ca­tion strength­ens soft skills such as respon­si­bil­i­ty, time man­age­ment, inter­de­pen­dence, dis­ci­pline, and pro­fes­sion­al con­duct.
